2010 6200lb "Cheater Stock” Gas 4x4 Rules
Engines & Drivetrain
1. Blocks and heads must be cast iron.
2. Aluminum intakes, single four-barrel carburetors and EFI permitted.
3. 4500 series dominators, turbos and superchargers are not permitted.
4. Headers permitted must exit down & back thru mufflers.
5. Engine must be same make as truck and in stock location.
6. 514 cu. In. Limit.
7. Transmission and transfer case must be oem, 1 ton or less.
8. Front and rear axles must be oem, 1 ton or less.
1. Factory frames 1 ton or less required with coil or leaf springs. Must have at least (4) working leaf springs per side on rear.
2. Traction bars are permitted.
3. Rear suspension blocks are permitted w/ at least 1" of suspension travel.
4. Crew cab and extended cab trucks are permitted.
1. Front weights and brackets may not extend more than 195 inches forward from the center or rear axle.
2. This measurement is used to compensate for allowing longer wheelbase trucks to compete.
1. Hitch point must be a minimum of 48” from the center of the rear axle and a maximum of 24” high.
2. No part of hitch can extend forward past the center of the rear axle and no hitch adjustment permitted from rear-end.
1. Must have complete factory sheet metal and windows.
2. No removing of bed floor.
3. Flat beds are permitted as long as they are factory built or heavier.
4. Fiberglass hoods and hood scoops permitted.
5. Batteries and fuel tanks must be in stock location or in bed.
1. Any street legal dot approved tire is permitted.
2. Maximum tire size 36” tall x16” wide.
3. No cut or sharpened tires allowed.
1. No nitrous, all components must be removed.
2. Pump gas or racing gas only. No alcohol or nitro permitted.
1. Trucks can be tailored in, but must meet the rest of our rules for the cheater stock diesel class.
2. Trucks competing in this class must be stock in appearance.
3. Engine, and drive train must come factory in a 1 ton or less pickup.
4. This class is limited to a single charger. The inducer bore on the compressor housing can't exceed 2.60". This will be teched using a 2.65" plug, if the plug goes in you will be disqualified. Bushing from any larger turbo size down to a 2.6 turbo is prohibited. The stock map width enhancement (mwe) groove is allowed. No mwe groove wider than a 1/4" will be permitted. All provisions allowing air to the wheel other than via the bore and the mwe groove are prohibited. Twins are permitted as long as they are o.e.m. for that truck.
5. Diesel fuel and bio diesel are the only fuels permitted in this class.
6. Smoke must exit up through stacks or you will need a turn up on your tail pipe. No exceptions!!!
7. Rear oem style suspension required. Solid susp. Blocks and traction bars are permitted.
8. Must pull off of a reese type hitch, mounted solid to the frame w/no movement. Reinforcements permitted. Hooking point must be the furthest point back of the truck and a maximum of 26" high on 4wd trucks and 30" on 2wd trucks.
9. Front weights and brackets can't exceed 60" from center of front axle.
10. Any d.o.t. approved tire is permitted. No cutting or sharpening of tires permitted.
11. No nitrous, propane, or any other pressurized fuel permitted. Any tanks, lines, or etc. Must be removed from truck before competing.
12. Mandatory safety: all trucks must have 6" long u-joint shields covering rear end yoke, rear out put yoke, front out put yoak, and front end yoke. The front out put yoke cover is not required if lack of room prevents installation. Shield thickness requirements aluminum min. 3/8" and steel min. 1/4".
1. This class is designed for high performance 2 and 4wd trucks. Open driveline is permitted. Fiberglass bodies and tube chassis frames are prohibited.
2. Engines must be oem and available in 1 ton or less pickups. No aftermarket heads or blocks permitted.
3. Single chargers are unlimited.
4. Limited twin charger set-ups are permitted. The inducer bore on the atmosphere charger is limited to 3.2”. A 3.25" plug will be used to tech these trucks. Bushings are permitted.
5. No nitrous, or propane. All tanks and lines must be removed from trucks before competing.
6. Front weights and brackets may not exceed more than 60" from center of front axle.
7. Solid rear suspension and traction bars are permitted.
8. Pulling type hitches are permitted; hook point at least 36" behind the center of rear axle. Max 26” high on 4wd and 30” high on 2wd.
9. Any d.o.t. approved tire permitted. No cutting or sharpening of tires permitted.
10. Safety requirements. Must have drive shaft loops and u-joint shields on front and rear shafts. U-joint shields must be at least 3/8” thick aluminum or ¼” thick steel. Blow proof bell housings, or blankets or bell housing shields required. Air or fuel shut off kill switches required.
11. Smoke must exit straight up. Turn ups required on tail pipes.
